Mini bowls

Build on guest love of mini bowls.

The strategy for this project was to create a key item story of mini bowls in a compelling assortment of techniques, colors, and patterns. Small serve bowls were added as a learning opportunity to see if the guest would respond to a larger item in the same techniques.

For this assortment, I focused heavily on wax resist and pad printing techniques. Previous Target mini bowls focused heavily on decals which can feel flat and graphic. Utilizing a pad print also allowed me to execute the first Target ceramic bowls to utilize pattern on both the interior and exterior of the bowl.
