When I walked into this space, I was immediately in love with the light, finishes, and layout. My landlord is a retired architect and designed the space himself. He gave me a hand drawn floor plan which I put into illustrator and rendered to scale to make sure I could fit into such a small space. Especially my non-negotiable king sized bed! Almost 2 years later, I continue to use the floor plan as part of my design process. It helps me see how new things will fit in the space and with my existing design.
